Emily Luxton is a travel writer, blogger, and solo female traveller from Dorset, England. Since starting out as a scruffy backpacker on a five-month adventure in South America, Emily has visited over 50 countries and had adventures all over the world.

She's climbed Mount Fuji at sunrise, ridden a board down a volcano in Nicaragua, stayed in a drug baron's former mansion in Colombia, travelled from Singapore to Hanoi by train, and come face to face with a black bear whilst hiking solo in Canada... to name just a few. Between travels, she can be found at home in Dorset, exploring as much of southwest England as possible.
