De technologie van Tokyo contrasteert met de traditionele tempels in Kyoto, zoals de Kinkaku-ji (Gouden Tempel) en Fushimi Inari. Bezoek het rustige platteland van Hokkaido voor een ervaring van rust en natuur, of maak een uitstapje naar Mount Fuji voor een adembenemende uitzicht. Aziatische wandelroutes
Aziatische wandelroutes. Om er geen fabeltjes rond te vertellen, kunt u mits de nodige interesse, bijna overal terrecht in de Aziatische wereld. Een onderwerp die gekenmerkt is en bestaat uit vele verschillende landen. Azië kan moeilijk in een paar woorden uiteen worden gedaan, aangezien er zoveel verschillende facetten zijn aan Azië. Van de simpele Chinese landschappen, tot Zuid- en Noord Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indië, Cambodia, Indonesië, Filipijnen, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong-Kong, Maleisië, en ga zo maar door.
Elk van deze landen is Aziatisch, maar elk hebben ze hun eigen tradities en geschiedenis. Deze landen zijn allemaal beschikbaar in onze afdeling Reisgidsen. Sommigen ervan beschikken zelfs over wandelkaarten of wandelgidsen. Maar in dit geval gaat het over onze Aziatische reisgidsen. Wandelen in Azië biedt een fascinerende mix van adembenemend natuurschoon, diverse landschappen en rijke culturele ervaringen. Het continent biedt een scala aan wandelmogelijkheden, van de torenhoge pieken van de Himalaya tot de weelderige jungles van Zuidoost-Azië. In Nepal dagen paden als het Annapurna Circuit en het Everest Base Camp avonturiers uit met trektochten op grote hoogte en adembenemende berggezichten.
In Japan slingeren de eeuwenoude Kumano Kodo bedevaartroutes zich door serene bossen en heilige heiligdommen, voor een vredige, meditatieve ervaring. Zuidoost-Azië biedt een ander soort avontuur, met trektochten door de dichte regenwouden van Thailand, Vietnam en Maleisië, waar wandelaars verborgen watervallen, afgelegen dorpen en exotische wilde dieren kunnen ontdekken. De verschillende klimaten en terreinen in Azië betekenen dat elke trektocht iets unieks biedt, of het nu de uitgestrekte woestijnlandschappen van Mongolië zijn of de vulkaanlandschappen van Indonesië zijn. Overal vind je paden die je in contact brengen met de natuur en lokale tradities.
Wandelroutes Azië
Wandelroutes Azië, voor wie nog nooit een bezoekje bracht aan gelijk welk aziatisch land, kiest u er om best voor om een eenvoudige, en een ietswat gezapig exemplaar uit om te bezoeken. Sommigen van deze landen hebben jarenlange tradities die u best ook volgt als u op bezoek gaat. Zo worden er in Thailand bijvoorbeeld geen handen geschud, maar een buigende gebaar gegeven met beide handen tegen elkander aan. Dit is er maar één van de duizenden tradities die deze landen rijk zijn. Azië is de thuisbasis van enkele van de meest diverse en adembenemende wandelroutes ter wereld, met voor elk type avonturier wat wils.
Van de torenhoge toppen van de Himalaya tot de dichte jungles van Zuidoost-Azië, de routes op het continent zijn even gevarieerd als adembenemend. Het Annapurna Circuit en het Everest Base Camp in Nepal behoren tot de meest iconische, die trekkers van over de hele wereld aantrekken om zichzelf uit te dagen op grote hoogten en tegelijkertijd te genieten van het uitzicht op enkele van de hoogste bergen ter wereld.
In Japan leiden de eeuwenoude Kumano Kodo pelgrimspaden wandelaars door mistige bossen, langs oude heiligdommen en serene kustpaden, waarbij natuurlijke schoonheid wordt gecombineerd met cultureel erfgoed. Voor wie op zoek is naar tropisch avontuur bieden de paden in het Thaise Doi Inthanon National Park of de Vietnamese Sapa regio weelderige jungles, terrasvormige rijstvelden en ontmoetingen met etnische minderheidsgemeenschappen. Verder naar het oosten biedt de Taroko Gorge in Taiwan dramatische kliffen en kronkelende rivieren, terwijl Mount Rinjani in Indonesië een uitdagende beklimming van een actieve vulkaan biedt, waarbij wandelaars worden beloond met panoramische uitzichten en de kans om het prachtige kratermeer te zien.
Of je nu door de uitgestrekte steppen van Mongolië trekt, de afgelegen valleien van Bhutan verkent of door de woeste landschappen van Kirgizië navigeert, wandelroutes Azië is een avontuur dat je onderdompelt in zowel natuurlijke pracht als rijke culturele tradities.
